Call in

Last night I called in sick. We are put on   a "five strikes and your out" system. They call them "occurrences". I am at 3.5 occurrences and with this call in o will be at 4.5. We do have the option to buy an occurrence back with something called protected paid time off. I have about fifteen hours worth of it so I will be alright.
Today is father's day and I am spending the afternoon and evening with my kids bc my soon to be ex husband is working. He works fresh cap, second shift and deals mostly with the meat department. It's raining, lightening and everything else out there. We r crammed in my little studio apartment right now but will be going to work on the new house a little later where we will meet up with my bestest who is an awesome handyman, thank God.
My ex is rude to me a lot and it hurts, I tried making a plea to him so we can co parent peacefully but he seems to be very bitter about that things still. I pray God will work things out so we can be good parents to our kids.
