Day off

I was to sign the contract to the house for twelve months today, but it was not to be, as my landlady's boyfriend who writes up the paperwork asked to reschedule twice now.
On the upside I am enjoying a nice long leisurely afternoon with my children.
We have walked the park, talked, read and watched movies and played with Kiki, our parakeet.
My bestest has been gallant fixing up the light fixtures in the house. He reassured me today that he would be with me for the long haul and that he was honored to just have the opportunity to be with me. No man has ever spoken to me in this fashion. It is without a doubt, the reason he is my bestest😉😍😍
