Ride home

We have been working the consumables mostly and in the morning I had two co workers ask me for a ride home.
One is a girl named Summer (not her real name) and the other a mother figure to me, we will call her Carla.
Summer lives a ways out but gave me five dollars for the ride. It's an unpaved county road but I was rewarded with the story of her ongoing custody battles and being shown and given two baby piglets to hold. I didn't even know piglets could have red eyelashes!
My bestest rode with me, ever cautious and concerned about the distance and the recent rains which could have gotten my vehicle stranded in the mud.
Carla lives closer to town and is a dear lady who can massage your neck or hand in the most invigorating way no matter how tired or beat up work got you.
I got my children for our weekly overnight and am happy and grateful for it. We took some more things over to the new house we are moving into and watched movies we borrowed from the library.
Tomorrow we will go back to the house to sign the twelve month contract.
They want to meet early so I will be lucky to get my kiddos up and out of bed by then. Love it :) :D
